SPOTTED GREENWASHING? SHARE IT
Join the fight against false environmental claims in packaging.
Almost every day, we see packaging that looks eco-friendly, but isn't. Misleading labels, vague claims like “biodegradable,” or packaging that’s not truly compostable are confusing consumers and harming our environment.

At Boomerang Alliance, we’re calling it out.

If you’ve come across packaging that seems too good to be true, or you're unsure if that “green” label holds up, upload it here.
Your photo will help expose greenwashing and push for stricter regulations that protect people and the planet.

How to Report Suspected Greenwashing
-
Snap a clear photo of the product or packaging.
-
Upload your image using the form below.
-
(Optional) Add a short description of where you found it and what concerns you.

Your uploads will help us build a real-world evidence bank that we will take with us to our meetings with the ACCC to hold companies accountable and advocate for stronger laws for packaging.

Not Sure If It’s Greenwash?

Upload it anyway. Our team will review submissions and use them in our campaigns, reports, and lobbying efforts.

THE REAL SOLUTION
Greenwashing distracts us from real action. The real change comes when companies are held accountable for the entire lifecycle of their products and packaging.
That’s why we’re pushing for:
-
Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) laws that make producers fund and manage the recovery and recycling of their packaging
-
A shift to reusable systems that eliminate waste altogether
We need systems that prioritise prevention over marketing, and reusability over disposability.
Your submission helps build the pressure for these changes.
